The #PotatoPants mini-fest on Easter Sunday was a great success, and has now raised (with gift aid) just over £1000 for the group.
Thanks to the fantastic Amie Knight, Mikey Ball, Matt Griffiths and Matt Black who entertained us with their wonderful music for the afternoon, with Ian Bennett as their host. The afternoon was like a mini-festival as these have all appeared at one (or more) of our previous Potato Pants festivals, and the mini-fest had that same friendly intimate gig feel.
The mini-fest stream was recorded. This is now online, and so you can now watch it whenever you like, on the Potato Pants Facebook page:
We are still happy to receive donations from anyone. So, if you watch the video and enjoy it, please say thank you with a small donation: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ian-bennett15
Many people dropped by at various times during the show, and enjoyed the music and the chatter between the songs. Many were left with that feel-good factor, and we thank anyone who:
- liked and commented, and
- has made a donation!
Those who listen to Ian’s show on Forest FM (Wired, 8pm on Fridays – Alexa can play this for you) have heard these artists before, and others were enjoying for the first time.
Once coronavirus restrictions start to be lifted we can hold another real-life face-to-face Potato Pants festival. Watch this space!
