It was good to have 16 of us getting together for a pub lunch towards the end of January. Everyone said how lovely it was to meet up in person and to be able to share news, experiences and information.
The main disappointment was that the venue was insufficiently staffed and a lot of us were waiting too long for our food, even though the orders had been collated and given to the pub a week in advance. The poor staff on shift had to work very hard. It was great to have a separate area and the food was tasty but because of being let down with the service, we are looking for a new place to try for next time.
Lots of people mentioned that they were hoping that we might have a ‘Face To Face’ AGM this year.
