Meeting report by Mike and Jane
With such glorious weather we were delighted to welcome twenty people to our meeting, including some new faces. There were some who, sadly, were not able to join us this time, but we look forward to seeing them at a future meeting.
The Carer’s time was shortened to enable Kay Warren, from Coloplast Ltd. to give her presentation and enable her to return to Peterborough in good time. Kay gave us an outline of the service provided by Charter Healthcare for incontinence. This may be a sensitive issue, but is something that many HSP sufferers experience, and being able to chat about it, can bring peace of mind. With some already using Coloplast products, this was an ideal opportunity for people to share information.
Some of the feedback included:
‘I thought the meeting was great and very interesting, even though I have been using the Coloplast products for a while now.’
‘Kay was great and good to know what is available to use, it was very informative’.
With the speaker’s presentation finishing earlier than usual, there was time for Kay to circulate and talk to individuals as well as an increased time for socialising, laughing, taking refreshments and celebrating 25 years of the Milford meetings.
We hope everyone has a good Summer and look forward to seeing you on Sunday November 2nd. Our autumn meeting will start at 2pm and finish at 5pm.
