Southwest HSP meeting
On March 25th we’ll be having another of our very informal get-togethers, at the Dartmoor Lodge Hotel in Ashburton, South Devon. This meeting is for anybody from the Southwest of England with HSP or with an interest in HSP, all are welcome. We always have a raffle so, if possible, please bring along any unwanted Christmas presents and proceeds from the raffle usually covers the cost of room hire, tea and coffee. The meeting starts at 2pm and ends at 5pm but you’re very welcome to come and go as you wish. Occasionally I have a speaker at these meetings, but we usually just chat amongst ourselves and put the world right. It’s amazing what we learn from one another. Some of our attendees arrive early and have lunch together in the bar or restaurant and you are of course welcome to do the same. Some people also stay overnight in the hotel so if this is of interest, please call the hotel on 01364 652232 and let them know that you’re attending the HSP meeting. They have downstairs bedrooms, but I wouldn’t say they’re very accessible rooms, but they’re fine for those of us who are walking. If you’re only attending the meeting and the bar and restaurant, the hotel is wheelchair friendly and has accessible toilet facilities. It would be lovely to see some new faces.
