Saturday 27th April (RSVP by Friday 19th April) at Lotherton Hall Off Collier Lane, Lotherton Ln, Aberford, Leeds LS25 3EB

Café | Zoo | Playgrounds | Deer Park and Grounds
Saturday 27th April at 11.30 for refreshments at 12.00 at the Café on the estate

The aim and purpose of the meeting:

The format will be warm, welcoming, and relaxed. There will be no obligation or expectation to talk about yourself, your health or your experiences of HSP. Just come along for a chat, cuppa and some cake. There will be an opportunity for families and carers to head off to explore the playground and zoo area (it’s great) and the HSPers can either go along or stay for a chat. It will be flexible and we’ll just see what folk fancy doing!

Basic refreshment will be covered by the charity, however visitors will be required to pay entry to the estate (see admission fees below or contact Tom Bell if the expense is an issue and we’ll help! If you just want to come to the café then we can ask about free entry). More substantial sustenance can be bought from the café if required.

To attend please RSVP by Friday 19th April to Tom at: t.e.bell1987@gmail.com along with any specific and/or dietary requirements.

Agenda:

11.30 Arrival, make your way to the café (see below for map but the staff will be able to give directions- follow the signs for café or the loos!)

12.00 Basic refreshments will be provided. Accessible toilets are available there, and we have a side room booked. More substantial sustenance can be purchased from the café as required.

12.15ish Welcome introductions from Tom and guest speaker Nick Garrett will do a talk about his fundraising and running!

12.45ish Opportunity for any helpers/carers/family to split off and go for a cuppa or walk around the Zoo area (there’s flamingos and armadillos!!) while the HSPers stay for a chat or go for a wonder about as preferred.

2pm: Attendees are then welcome to meet back at the café or head off as required. The room will be booked and available if anyone wants to head back for a rest and a cuppa.
