A beautiful sunny day in Birmingham, brought 20 of us together (including 3 new people) for our 20th get-together. There were 4 apologies due to illness.
We didn’t have a speaker but lots of interesting conversation occurred and experiences were shared. Everyone was asked if they wanted a speaker for the next or future meetings but no requests were made. The whole group said how great the buffet lunch was.
Feedback about the last AGM was requested. One person commented on how difficult they found it to get in to speak on a Zoom meeting and self – expression cannot be given easily in a ‘comment box’. The unanimous wish at the meeting was for face to face AGM’s to happen again-with some speakers, leaving enough time for social interaction after.
We all decided on the date for the next meeting to be Saturday 18th October.
