Wishing all our members, supporters, friends, family and professionals happiness in this festive period!
We encourage everyone to spend time however is best for them: with friends or family, or by themselves; at home or out and about; by resting or by being active.
If you are having a tough time this year, there are different routes available for support:
- If it is an emergency, use 999 and call the emergency services.
- If you have a non-emergency health issue, call 111 or use the NHS app to access services.
- You could call the Samaritans on 116 123 or https://www.samaritans.org/how-we-can-help/contact-samaritan/
- Scope are open most of the season on 0808 800 3333 or https://www.scope.org.uk/helpline
- Mind are also open most of the season on 0300 123 3393 or https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/helplines/
- Carers UK also offer support: https://www.carersuk.org/help-and-advice/helpline-and-other-support/
However you spend this period, remember that you are not alone, that support is available, and that there are teams developing treatments for HSP. You can take steps to help yourself.
