Meeting report by Estelle Marshall
On the May zoom meeting there were 8 people.
We discussed;
- The importance of using aids to maintain or regain independence and the negative consequences on quality of life of refusing to use aids when needed.
- SPG7 is a mitochondrial condition, and the use of co-enzyme Q10 for mitochondrial conditions, and many people find that it helps to reduce fatigue.
- Incontinence and the use of external catheters as an alternative to self-catheterisation.
- The importance and benefits of exercise and the various exercises that are appropriate.
- YouTube, seated yoga, and Sport Ability were also mentioned. The social element of exercise was agreed as being a benefit.
